These General Contract Conditions govern the online sale of tickets for the Civic Museums of the Municipality of Florence: Palazzo Vecchio, Torre d'Arnolfo, Cappella Brancacci, Fondazione Salvatore Romano, Museo Novecento, Museo Stefano Bardini, Museo di Santa Maria Novella, Forte di Belvedere.

By making an online purchase on the Official Ticketing Website of the Florentine Civic Museums, the Customer declares that they have read all the information provided during the purchase process and fully accept the general conditions and payment terms described below.

The tickets purchased online, including free ones, are nominal tickets that require the reservation of a specific date and time of entry, which must be respected by the user.

Ticket Purchase Methods

Purchase Confirmation

If the payment has been successfully completed, the system sends two notification emails to the Customer: the first from the Nexi system confirming that the payment transaction was successful, and the second from the ticketing system of the Florentine Civic Museums containing a summary of the purchased tickets and a link to download them directly or through access to the reserved area, for which the username and password will be provided.

The purchased ticket will show the booking details and the barcode required for validation at the museum entrance.

Museum Ticket Usage Guidelines

To access the Museum, the Customer must go directly to the museum entrance gate, without stopping at the ticket office. The staff will validate the ticket by scanning the barcode.
In the case of reduced and/or free tickets, the Customer must present, together with the ticket, the documents proving their eligibility.

Rules and Warnings

The Palazzo Vecchio Museum is the seat of the Municipality of Florence. During institutional events, changes in opening hours and visitor routes may occur; these do not entail any modification to the museum admission fee.

In the event of rain, the final section of the Arnolfo Tower is closed to the public. However, access to and use of the medieval battlement walkway remain regularly possible and permitted; therefore, no ticket changes or refunds are provided in case of rain.

Right of Withdrawal and Refund

Pursuant to Article 59, paragraph 1, letter n) of the Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal provided for in Article 52 of the Consumer Code does not apply, as this concerns the provision of leisure services that the Municipality of Florence undertakes to provide on a specific date. Therefore, the Customer may not exercise this right with regard to the purchase of admission tickets to the Civic Museums.

In the event of the Customer's cancellation or an incorrect purchase, no refund of the price paid for the admission ticket is provided. Refunds are also not available for tickets that were purchased but not used.
